I started Unhinge because I was tired of networking.
the backstory
I'm in my final year of CS at Thapar and currently interning at Fitelo in Gurugram.
Like a lot of people in their 20s, I moved to a new city. I was super connected online, but in real life? I felt pretty isolated. I tried going to "networking events", but they were honestly just exhausting. It was all small talk, pitching, and people just trying to get something from you.
I just wanted real friends. I wanted people to build cool stuff with, talk about ideas, or just grab a coffee without any hidden agenda.
So I decided to just build the community I was looking for.
the vision
The plan is simple: we're building the coolest space in India for curious people in their 20s to just hang out and build things.
We don't just talk about doing stuff. We actually build projects. We keep each other on track. We do things that matter. And most importantly, we actually show up for each other in real life.
